Hi, We are mothers of young children and have been friends for many years. Coincidently we got pregnant at around the same time with our first children. When our babies were born and we began to nurse them we struggled with the issue of nursing in public. Both being very modest, we looked for something that we could use to help us feel more comfortable when nursing in public. Blankets would fall off our shoulders and the nursing covers that were on the market were not very functional and were VERY unattractive. And let's admit it - you feel frumpy enough as it is when you first have a baby. The last thing you need is to wear something that makes you feel even worse! That's how we came up with the idea of creating a nursing cover that was both functional as well as stylish. We designed and developed several models, tried them out for ourselves and on other women, and we finally came up with the Cara Mia Baby Nursing Cover.
